| The Sweden-based biotech company Biovator and the global chemical industry leader BASF have signed a collaboration agreement for final development of In Vitro test systems capable of identifying the potential of chemical compounds to induce allergic reaction in humans. The agreement also includes a five-year BASF option of final product deliveries. |

| LinkMedīs portfolio company Likvor has received an order for Likvor CELDATM from Uppsala University Hospital (Akademiska Universitetssjukhuset). With Likvor CELDATM the clinical will be able to dynamic measure the most important parameters concerning the patientsī cerebrospinal fluid including pressure and flow. Likvor CELDATM was developed to facility greater understanding and enhancing diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), a condition that is often mistaken for dementia. This is the second order for the instrument; the fist came from Norrlands Universitetssjukhus, Umeå. |

2009-12-08 AbSorber receives European patent protection for its transplantation cross match-test XM-ONE  |
| LinkMedīs subsidiary AbSorber has received patent protection for its transplantation cross match-test XM-ONEŪ in the European countries. The patent was previously approved in New Zealand which was the first country to approve a patent for AbSorbers product. The European countries are highly prioritized markets for AbSorber and the patent approval is an important milestone in Absorbers intellectual property strategy. |

2009-11-11 LinkMed acquires an additional 51 percent of AbSorber and carries out secured rights issue of convertibles  |
o LinkMedīs Board of Directors has resolved to acquire an additional 50.8 percent of AbSorber. A total of 9.9 percent of the shares in AbSorber will be acquired through an issue in kind and the remaining 40.9 percent of the shares will be acquired through a cash payment of SEK 58 million. Following the acquisition LinkMed will own 93.8 percent of AbSorber, which thereafter will be included in the LinkMed group as a subsidiary.
o LinkMedīs Board of Directors has furthermore resolved to carry out a right issue of convertibles with preferential rights for existing shareholders of a maximum value of SEK 84.9 million. The decision is supported by the mandate given to the Board by shareholders at the companyīs Annual General Meeting on April 22, 2009.
o The rights issue is secured by subscription undertakings and guarantee commitments from LinkMedīs two largest shareholders Mohammed Al Amoudi and FastPartner. Issue proceeds will primarily be used to finance the cash acquisition of shares in AbSorber. The issue will make it possible for LinkMed to continue to build a profitable growth company of key importance in the transplantation sector. Furthermore, it will secure that LinkMed has adequate financial resources to pay the final additional purchase price for Olerup SSP and enable the company to continue to support and invest in LinkMedīs other portfolio companies.
